LAS VEGAS — March 8, 2026 — Directo’s Archive, an independent fashion archive and apparel project founded by Christian Directo, announced the upcoming release of a new limited collection inspired by vintage American sportswear and influential archive fashion designers.

The new release reflects Directo’s Archive’s mission of preserving and celebrating garments that represent important moments in fashion history. The collection draws influence from classic 1980s and 1990s sportswear, an era defined by bold graphics, distinctive color blocking and culturally significant athletic apparel. At the same time, the project explores how sportswear aesthetics have influenced high-end fashion design over the past several decades.

The collection also acknowledges influential designers and sportswear brands such as Raf Simons, Starter, DeLong, Chalk Line, Undercover, Number (N)ine, Maison Margiela, Helmut Lang and Ann Demeulemeester. These designers are widely recognized for creating garments that combine conceptual design, cultural commentary and collectible value.

“Archive fashion is about understanding the stories behind garments and why they remain culturally important years later,” said Christian Directo, founder of Directo’s Archive.
